Hotel Lobby Design
Concept
The design for the interiors of the hotel's Reception area was inspired by the Minangkabau culture that started in Malaysia in the early 16th century.
The Minangkabau society forms one of the largest ethnic groups that consist of people who carry on the tradition of the world’s largest matrilineal culture. Women are considered the head of the household and are in complete control of the design of the house.
